Great accommodation in the Pyrenees

One of the 5 en-suite bedrooms

Accommodation

The house dates back to the 16th century and has since been extended to provide spacious bedrooms and communal areas. The building is set in secluded grounds with a swimming pool, sun terrace, children's play equipment and orchard. Inside is a large dining room, living room, games room and gym. We have five en-suite bedrooms and can accommodate families, individuals or groups.

The huge secluded garden has a swimming pool and play equipment for young children.

There is a large lawn for ball games, plenty of trees to climb or hide behind and you may just see one of our cats, dogs or chickens (feel free to collect a fresh egg for breakfast!).  We grow a lot of our own fruit and veg, so  pick a pear or sample the walnuts, kiwis, figs or peaches.  Directly opposite the house, is a field containing Sue's donkey Hamish. He is very friendly and loves company. Our separate field also has plenty of space for mountain-biking practise and a picnic table by the river. The sun terrace is brilliant for sun-worshippers as you can catch the rays all day long. A covered terrace has tables and chairs for breakfast or dinner outside. Barbecues are a big favourite during the summer.

Cyclists may prefer energy-boosting options of omelettes and porridge, while a full English breakfast, or German option of cold meats and cheeses is available on request. We definitely recommend trying our fresh hens' eggs - poached, scrambled, boiled or fried. Evening meals and packed lunches are available each day. Our large living room has a real fire for cold winter nights after skiing, plus UK television and a dvd player if you fancy a quiet evening in. Make yourself at home in the house, borrow a book or a pack of cards or browse through our list of recommendations for evenings or days out. The games room has a pool table, Playstation 2 and games, dart boards, various board games and puzzles, plusBreakfast and dinner are served in the large dining room a large library of books, videos and dvds for you to use.
